Came across this article recently while my partner is on her 2nd month of recovery from brain tumor removal surgery. She loved cooking before her surgery as well and is slowly getting back into it making simple foods like scrambled eggs. Having passionate hobbies you enjoyed before surgery as a way to motivate and push yourself as a part of recovery is not only effective but in my opinion, makes recovery so much more ''enjoyable'' for you and the ones around you as well.
